Ringworm is a well-known fungal infection that affects the scalp, skin and nails. The disease is capable of spreading throughout your body. The medical name for ringworm is “Tinea”. Though ringworm is not as severe as psoriasis, it is a medical condition you should pay close attention to. There are plenty of natural remedies for ringworm. And, most of these remedies are effective home-based solutions.

Remedy #1 – Tea Tree Oil

If ringworm has infected your feet, you should use tea tree oil. This is an essential oil with antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. Different types of skin disorders can be cured with tea tree oil. It decreases and heals fungal infections naturally. To use tea tree oil, soak a cotton ball in it and apply the oil on your feet. This procedure should be repeated three to four times every day. With frequent usage, you will be able to get rid of ringworms completely. For best results, the oil should match with your body temperature.

Remedy #2 – Garlic & Ajoene

A natural antifungal agent that cures common skin disorders like ring worm would be “Garlic with Ajoene”. Indeed, this is a great way to overcome hair loss too. The natural agent prevents and treats ringworms, only if you use it regularly. Cut thin slices of a clove and leave it on the infected region. For best results, you should a thick paste of garlic and ajoene on the infected region.

Remedy #3 – Apple Vinegar

Remedy #5 – Lavender & Jojoba Oil

One of the safest and most soothing remedy against ringworms includes “Lavender and Jojoba Oil”. A lot of young mothers use this essential oil to cure ringworm infections in babies. A teaspoon of jojoba oil has to be mixed with a drop of lavender oil. Conversely, apply this mixture on the infected surface. Of course, you can use lavender oil alone to cure skin infections. But this mixture has better antifungal properties.

Remedy #6 – Mustard Seeds

Mustard seeds may seem tiny; however, they are splendid agents against skin infections like ringworms. Soak a handful of mustard seeds in water and grind them into a thick paste. Apply the paste on your skin to soothe irritation and itchiness.

Remedy #7 – Turmeric

Last but certainly not least, you can use turmeric to heal ringworm. The so-called holy powder has rich healing properties. It can eradicate various fungal and bacterial infections.

Few other effective natural remedies for ringworm would be vinegar & salt, Aloe Vera and Colloidal Silver.
